Všechno, co o systemice opravdu potřebuju znát, jsem se sice nenaučil ve školce, ale v mnohém je to tak prosté, jako by to ze školky bylo. Během posledních asi 25 let se mi tenhle styl uvažování a práce s klienty stal vlastní. V naivních začátcích a prvotním nadšení jsme začali už od roku 1990 systemiku učit.

Adlerian Therapy as a Relational Constructivist Approach / Watts, Richard E.

The author presents the elements of the postmodern perspective present in contemporary psychotherapy. Moreover, he indicates the usefulness of some therapeutic techniques, mirroring the tendencies represAccording to R. A. Neimeyer (2000) and Botella and Herrero (2000), an integrative bridge between cognitive constructivist and social constructionist approaches to therapy might be usefully labeled relational constructivism. This article affirms that Adlerian therapy— both explicitly and implicitly—is a relational constructivist approach, and consequently may serve as an integrative bridge between cognitive constructivist and social constructionist therapies. Both theory and practice issues are discussed.

In Radical Constructivism (RC) (Glasersfeld 1991) we judge our understanding by what can be accomplished using that understand- ing. Realists do not understand the notion that RC is not about “truth,” but about fit to experience. In this article, we look at evidence in educational settings. While the evidence will be mostly from physics education, what is being described is not unique to the results of physics instruction. Education as we know it today is based in realism. How do the results of this education as we know it compare with results of education based in RC?

Postmoderní situace v dějepisectví: aneb Mysliti jako Třeštík / Blecha, Ivan

Trvalo nějakou dobu, než jsem se dostal k tomu, abych si Třeštíkovu knížku přečetl. Připadl jsem na ni díky několika na sebe navazujícím ohlasům a citacím, na něž jsem porůznu narazil a které prozrazovaly, že úvahy, v této knížce obsažené, budou určitě kontroverzní. Nejsem historik, takže jsem jen pozvolna zaznamenával, že Dušan Třeštík již několik let vede úporné diskuse se svými kolegy a že je jakýmsi enfant terrible české historiografie posledního desetiletí. A už ze zmíněných odkazů bylo zřejmé, kde je hlavní třecí plocha: jsou jí Třeštíkovy postmoderní představy o roli dějepisectví a o ně opřená metodologie, kterou se řídí při své práci.

Arguments Opposing the Radicalism of Radical Constructivism / Saalmann, Gernot

Examination of the main arguments for radical constructivism and the critical arguments put forward against it. Although there is no reason to doubt the value of constructivism as such, it can be stated that any epistemological radicalism lacks plausibility. There is ample evidence that we still can adopt a critical realist outlook, even if every part of our world view is a construction.

Autopoiesis, Structural Coupling and Cognition: A history of these and other notions in the biology of cognition / Maturana, Humberto

My intent in this essay is to reflect on the history of some biological notions such as autopoiesis, structural coupling, and cognition, that I have developed since the early 1960's as a result of my work on visual perception and the organization of the living. No doubt I shall repeat things that I have said in other publications (Maturana & Varela, 1980, 1988), and I shall present notions"that once they are said appear as obvious truisms. Moreover, I shall refine or expand the meaning of such notions, or even modify them. Yet, in any case, the reader is not invited to attend to the truisms, or to what seems to be obvious, rather he or she is invited to attend to the consequences that those notions entail for the understanding of cognition as a biological process. After all, explanations or demonstrations always become self evident once they are understood and accepted, and the purpose of this essay is the expansion of understanding in all dimensions of human existence.
